Postage & Delivery

Gifts for Geeks aim to have all orders dispatched within 3 working days of payment. However, this can take longer in some rare cases.

Please bear in mind though that we do not control the postal system and so your order may in some circumstances take up to 5 to 7 working days to reach you. Please note that postage upgrades only upgrade the postage speed and not our processing time. Items are dispatched according to the delivery method the customer selects. An overview of the postage methods used follows;

Royal Mail 1st Class: Standard Delivery Time: 1-2 days. 

Royal Mail 2nd Class: Standard Delivery Time: 2-4 days. 

Tracked Courier Delivery: 2-4 days.

DHL: Standard Delivery Time: 1-2 days. 

Royal Mail Airmail: Standard Delivery Time: 1-7 days. 

New Delivery Methods

Royal Mail Special Delivery Time: 1 Working Day

UPS Cash On Delivery Service (C.O.D.): 1-2 Working Days 

To place a UPS Cash On Delivery Service order (U.K. only) simply select your postage method as UPS C.O.D. and your payment method as C.O.D.

Then email us with your order number at COD@giftsforgeeks.org.uk to confirm your order.  UPS will accept cash or cheque  as valid forms of payment on delivery.

Due to customer feedback some items, blisters in particular, will be shipped with additional protection to keep them intact during transit. We will not accept refund requests or exchanges for these items if the sole reason is that the customer is unhappy with the additional protection. Please note we will avoid this where possible.

Non-delivery

If you are unfortunate enough not to receive your ordered goods within 20 working days (which is the period that Royal Mail allows before it is declared as lost) Please call your local sorting office, as 95% of delayed items end up being held at local sorting offices because of a failed deliveries. If nothing is found then please e-mail us and we will arrange for a reimbursement or for a replacement to be sent to you after completion of the claims procedure. If you have had problems receiving goods we reserve the right to only send future orders based on Recorded post to help guarantee that items do reach you safely.

Returned to Sender

Items that are returned to Gifts For Geeks because they are not collected or claimed by the intended recipient can be reissued for an additional postage fee. Alternatively your order can be refunded minus our postage costs.
